Toronto, ON: On average, 429 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer every week. Each one of these women will have to learn to manage and control their pain, discomfort, side effects and stress while enduring treatment. Radiation oncologist Jean-Philippe Pignol, M.D., Ph.D., is joined by Suzy Cayley and Isabelle Dusastre, directors of the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation for a public lecture entitled “Innovative Radiation Treatments for Breast Cancer Patients,” on Thursday, October 11, 2007, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.
